At the Winterschool of Discontent (http://www.westdenhaag.nl/exhibitions/16_01_Winter_School_of_Discontent) I facilitated an experimental daily movement space questioning how shared physical experience leads to communitas. We started clarifying thoughts about how sharing physical vulnerability, collective movement and touch create emphatic relationships between people (as opposed to rational, mediated and abstracted ways of relating) that go beyond the social roles we play and the evalutations we make of each other based on them.
