Be Your Dog

In the context of my interest in species equality I joined a DIY project with Angela Bartram at Karst in Plymouth, UK (http://www.thisisliveart.co.uk/opportunities/diy-13-2016-angela-bartram/). The premise was to spend three days with a group of dogs and people, basically a group of dog-human pairs. The research was about how humans can come down from their superiority and meet these familiar non humans on equal footing. This meant lots hours of mirroring what Zeb, this large bulldog was doing. What interested me here was how physical this connection became. My work with pigs was more interacting through materials, rather than having such a direct body connection.
